Internet mailing list members are persons that receive bulk emails, including weekly and/or monthly newsletters. Based on the software program that’s used to manage a particular list, they may have signed up personally, expressing their categorical consent to be added to the mailing list, or they may have been included manually. The latter implies that they will pratictically get unsolicited messages. Typically, mailing list members can be managed by the mailing list administrator who can include or remove them, or they can manually unsubscribe if they don’t want to receive emails from now on. All members will invariably receive one and the same message provided that they belong to the same mailing list, but a single member will never be able to see the other mailing list members in the "To" field of the message.
